Prohibited Content
Voxox prohibits SMS messaging when it is unsolicited commercial content and considers this content to be "spam".
The following types of messaging on all SMS messaging products (local/10dlc long code, Toll Free long code, dedicated/shared short codes) are all prohibited:
SHAFT content and/or links
- Content or links to content related to sex, hate, alcohol, firearms or tobacco
CTIA Guidelines
- Financial / Loan Offers / Payday Loans
- Gambling
- Illegal Drugs
- Prescription Drugs
Fraud and Phishing
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access or username/password data
- Password or PII (Personally Identifiable Information) gathering
- If it's illegal, it's not allowed
Impersonation
- Impersonating a brand and/or identity of someone or something
- Using brand names or marks without the consent of the brand
Acceptable commercial content
The following content is approved only when you have the express written consent of the consumer:
- Marketing
- Sales
- Reminders
- Status Messages
- Authentication
- Notifications
- Status Updates
Adaptive Content Blocking
Voxox, at its sole discretion, may choose to block any content that are not consistent with CTIA/FCC or any other governing body's best practices for P2P or A2P messaging. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Public URL shorteners
- Bank names (unless express written consent is provided)
- Select brand names commonly impersonated
- Any content found matching any of the descriptions above
