How-to: Transfer and Conference callers

There are three ways to transfer a call on a Polycom phone. You have a Warm transfer, Blind transfer, and transfer from a conference.

 

Warm Transfer

• Press the Transfer button, or softkey, on your Polycom phone
• Dial the person's extension or phone number you wish to transfer the call to and press Send
• Once the person, who you are transferring the call to, answers and accepts, press the transfer key again to complete the transfer

Blind Transfer

• Press the Transfer button, or softkey, on your Polycom phone
• Dial the person's extension or phone number you wish to transfer the call to and press Send. The call will immediately transfer from your phone

Conference Transfer

• Press the Conference button, or softkey, on your Polycom phone
• Dial the person's extension or phone number you wish to Conference the call with and press Send.  Once the person, who you are conferencing the call with, answers and accepts, press the Conference key again to complete the conference call.
• If you wish to drop off, simply hang up the phone and the call will stay live with the other two parties
