How to – Transferring Calls

Attended Transfers

Attended transfers allow you to see if the person is available to take the call. The person you are on the phone with will be on hold until you complete the transfer.

1. Press the Transfer button if there is a physical one or press the button near the screen that has Transfer near it on screen.
   • The screen will change and display “Transfer to:”
2. Dial the number you would like to transfer to.
   • If the number you dial is an 11 digit number, the call will send right away
   • If the number you dial is an extension, remember to hit Send to commence the transfer
3. To complete the transfer hit Transfer
   • The caller is on hold until you completely transfer the call

Blind Transfers

Blind transfers allow you to send a call to another person, without checking to see if they are available or not. This is a “fire and forget” type of action.

1. Press the Transfer button if there is a physical one or press the button near the screen that has Transfer near it on screen.
   • The screen will change and display “Transfer to:”
2. Hit the button that is associated with Blind near the screen.
   • The display will change to “Blind transfer to:”
3. Dial the number or extension you would like to transfer to.
   • This will send the call and hang up immediately for you.

3 – way Call Conferencing

This feature allows you to conference in a third person to join your call.

1. While on a call, press the Conference button, if your phone does not have a dedicated Conference Button look at the screen for a button that says “Confrnc” you may need to hit “More” before the conference option appears
2. Dial the number or extension of the person you would like to conference in
3. To complete the conference, press the Conference button or the button near the display that says “Confrnc” to complete the conference
   • The display will change to “Active:Conference”
