How-To: Personalize your Voicemail Greeting via Phone

Steps to Recording your Personal Greetings:

1. Pick up your handset and enter *98 using your keypad or by pressing the Messages button on your phone to enter your personal Voicemail box
2. Press 3 on the keypad to navigate to Personal Options
3. Press 3 again on the keypad to navigate to Greetings
• Press 1 on the keypad to navigate to Extended Absence Greeting
• Press 2 on the keypad to navigate to Personal Greeting
• Press 1 to use the default Standard Greeting
• This will use the systems default standard greeting.
• Press 2 to record your Greeting
1. Record your greeting when prompt
2. Press # on your keypad when you are finished recording
3. Listen to your recorded greeting and re-record by pressing * (star) or keep your recorded greeting by pressing # (pound)
• Press 3 on the keypad to navigate to Recorded Name
1. Record your name when prompt
2. Press # on your keypad when you are finished recording
3. Listen to your recorded name and re-record by pressing * (star) or keep your recorded greeting by pressing # (pound)

Voicemail Pro-Tips:

• Record your greetings in a quiet location where ambient noise levels are low.
• Use your handset rather than the speakerphone. The handset is equipped with HD capable voice and will sound a bit more crisp and clear than the speakerphone.
• When you finish recording, don't hang up! Follow the voice prompts and use your keypad. That way you don't hear the sound of your handset hitting plastic in your recordings.
• Keep it short and sweet! Don't bore somebody that is trying to leave you a voicemail message.
